Today in class we learned about our digital footprint and how to be a good digital citizen. First we went over to a website called Symbaloo and completed multiple activities on there. To start we wrote the definitions of a digital citizenship and a digital footprint. The definitions were:
Digital Citizenship- navigating the digital world safely, responsibly, and ethically Digital Footprint- All of the information about a person that can be found online After that we watched a short video on you digital footprint. This basically say that everything that you put online can be searched, copied, and shared. Then, we watched another short video about how to be a good citizen online and how colleges can find you online as well as others. This video was mostly about Facebook but, it could be applied to other social media platforms. Finally, we read two articles about how to be a good digital citizen/how colleges and jobs look at your social media. In this I learned many things. Hello!
My name is Kaitlin. In this, I will tell you a bit about myself, so you can get a feel for who I am. For starters, I love to dance although I am not currently enrolled in a dance studio. Previously, I have done ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish step dance. I used to do karate with my Dad and brother, Nic, but as I have gotten older I have lost some interest in continuing karate. I also, collect crystals/rocks thanks to my Aunt. The amount I have is insane, I'm running out of space to put all of them! If you ever get to know me, you would also know I can't keep my head out of books. Yes, that is right, I am a proud bookworm. After I graduate high school, I hope to continue my education and pursue a career in the medical field. Anyways, this is me! |
